Interesting, ive never considered that as possibly being an owl. Always assumed shite like that was fox or coyote.

Op, is it under a tree? If it's in the middle of your yard def not owl.

If it's the size of a dog it's small coyote or fox.

If it's smaller and under a tree, likely a bird of prey.

Size would help in determining. Maybe put something next to it to show scale.

I would also put money on an owl being the source, but those are usually found under trees. That does seem to be the case here.

It's not an owl or any other bird of prey, unless someone gathered up several days worth of pellets and arranged them into a neat, shite pile. I'd say probably coyote.

Maybe he shits on the same limb each night, but you do have a point. That's a lot.

The OP should dissect them and see if he finds any bones. I'm totally serious.

Coyote. Coyotes are around 25-30lbs. Unless you've seen an owl that big recently.
