I've said it before and will say it again. Most any bow you buy these days is gonna be of quality design and parts. I say stuff about other brands just to be comical.
To say that Mathews is hideous and cheap looking is just plain foolish if serious.

Every single bow made will outshoot the person holding it. When people bad mouth a bow, I tell them it ain't the stick, it's the Indian.
Picking a bow should strictly be based on if it meets you preference in draw cycle, back wall, shot feel, balance, etc. Mathews, Hoyt, BowTech, PSE, Martin, Bear, etc. are all great bows.
