i prefer elk ground meat to deer. i prefer deer in a grave (rice and gravy) to elk.

I prefer elk much more so than venison, just me. I always ground up my venison for burger minus the backstrap.

I'm going on an Elk hunt this fall with my dad and brother. It'll be interesting to see how the meat taste and all.

I know general rifle bull has 2 seasons. I went this past year and it was November. It was the 2nd season.

Eta....could also depend on tag/quadrant.
