Oh I agree that for his use the gas engine was the better choice. I'd probably still buy a used truck since he'll have it parked most of the time. He'll just have to do a lot more work.

Depends on what you compare it too. It's cheaper then Zeiss, but it's going to cost more then a bushnell.

Depends on the drop is gas mileage. The gas burner is going to drop more then the diesel, from my experience.

I'm going on an Elk hunt this fall with my dad and brother. It'll be interesting to see how the meat taste and all.

I collar my dogs because it is a known rule that uncollared dogs get shot. In addition even collared dogs get shot if they come across the wrong OB member.
