Oh I agree that for his use the gas engine was the better choice. I'd probably still buy a used truck since he'll have it parked most of the time. He'll just have to do a lot more work....

Depends on what you compare it too. It's cheaper then Zeiss, but it's going to cost more then a bushnell....

Depends on the drop is gas mileage. The gas burner is going to drop more then the diesel, from my experience....
