Yeah lost all my pics in the Mother Nature Hard at Work thread. But my other one, The World According to the OB. I come back to every now and then just to reminisce. When this board started out it was so good. Seems almost dead these days by comparison.

It was really cool when it first split from the OT.
mylsuhat, Dieseltiger, Josey Wales, LSUtiger1971, Nascarfan, Wickowick, Alxtiger and many other regulars used to keep it active.
But you are correct. I'll read the Political talk, linked articles, then check the OT, watch a funny video or 4 and come back to the outdoor board an hour later and there will only be 2 replies to threads. Now I just watch someone argue with Alxtiger as he takes any contrarian opinion for the sake of arguing. I get excited when some old school OB guy posts that we haven't heard from in a long time.
Eta: We had an OB meet up in Shreveport 10 years ago. That's where I met The last Coco, Polar Pop, and Salmon.

Met quite a few OB'ers at EJW's thing in Monroe. It was funny that his wife actually brought up that a good bunch of folks in attendance were there because of an internet website. What was that 2013? Damn has it been that long? I think I actually joined TD officially that year although I probably lurked for 5 years before that.

I reckon I joined about that time. Realized I had known Wick since we were chaps, been able to meet and get to know several others in that list through other avenues through the years. Not sure how I ever found this site but glad I did.

Lurked for a long time been posting since 2018. It seems to be like this every year this time of the year. Hell anyone check on 257wtby he posted every single ist of 2022-2023 and really nothing hopefully he’s not still sitting in that chair somewhere!!
It really is a cool place and a lot of info is legit some posters should just learn to follow the rule of if you can’t say nothing good then don’t say anything. Also that just because something works for you doesn’t mean it’s the only way to skin that cat.

It actually started 8 years (2010) before EF Hutton joined the board and two years before I joined after lurking for two years.. Man, how did those years pass so fast? Yeah, I'd love to hear from those old OB posters, too.
