go online and buy a case, save the time and the money, don't pay taxes or shipping.

Might have to get a case. Not a bad price at all.

I buy almost all my shells from them these days; the specific deals come and go but generally on the cheap side though the real savings is again "free shipping, no tax". Factor that in if you find a better price elsewhere. Closer to season there'll be specials also

2 3/4 # 3 or 4 but I found shells for $100 a case for 3" # 3's last year. I shot almost 3 1/2 cases last year and will do it again this year. Don't let your mind get in the way too much. Throw some stell at them and see what happens. They're in your face anyway.

Personally, I love shooting 2 3/4 #6. Such a deadly teal shot and its hard to beat $10 a box.

On Rogers and a few other websites, you can get 3" shells for at or under $9.99 a box regularly, sometimes $89.99 a case (free ship, no tax of course), 2 3/4" even cheaper. Shop it around

#5 Lead was my choice for years before the steel.

This comment doesn't belong. Just brought back a childhood memory, sorry.
