Grew up in the 80's watching Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, etc and saw the 92FS everywhere. Always wanted one since I was a kid

I’m the same. Part of the reason I bought an H&K SP5

I really want one.

Walked in years ago at the Southwest gun and knife show when it was in the civic center main room and there was a table of military surplus turn ins for $150 a piece. He had probably 15 of them. I passed on them cause I didn't know what I was missing. I was a kid then and stupid.

I regretted it years later when I got to shoot one. I love em. I want one with the low hanging flap holster. I have one for my colt peacemaker 22LR and it rides easy on the fiurwheeler. Very comfortable hand placement when you draw. Very natural.

Just ordered a LTT 92G compact. Found it on gunzone deals for $713 shipped. Going to add the LTT NP3 trigger kit in a bag.
The 92 guns are timeless classics.

I bought a 92 centurion a few months ago on a whim. Ive been buying handguns for almost 30 yrs now, and can’t believe what I missed out on not owning one sooner. Extremely pleasant to shoot, accurate, cheap mags!

The only handgun I have is the 92FS. I like it. It’s good weight, easy maintenance, I think it’s pretty damn good.

Probably a little overpriced for what it is, but worth it IMO.

I have a 92FS compact. It’s a little smaller than full size 92FS and has 13 rd magazines, but it is one of the best shooting 9mm guns I own. BTW any 92 magazines will run in it

I see why you're getting the trigger kit. After reading reviews from a few places, everyone is shitting on the trigger that comes with that one

It’s like going from a mil spec 1911 to a Staccato. Night and day. If your fine with the stock trigger that’s fine too.

I’ve put two of the non-coated LTT Triggers in a Bag on both of mine along with the shorter reset bar & it made a world of difference. Playing with the hammer & recoil springs really helped too, but took a few range sessions to where I like it. As said before, the double action leaves a lot to be desired.. I made these changes to a Wilson model & on my one that came from Italy.

I’m not sure how much more the NP3 coating gives you for money difference. Not knocking it, but the standard polished trigger in the bag is definitely worth the money.

Forgot that I also replaced the Italian pistol with the LTT short reset transfer bar. They both shoot pretty much the same now. The Wilson has the Briadier slide, the other has a standard slide.

Just got the LTT trigger job in a bag today and swapped out in my 92FS.

OMG.

Double action wouldn’t register as it was too heavy. Now 6.5 lbs
Single action was 6 I think and it’s now 4 lbs.

I’m shocked at the difference especially the DA.
