If your talking casings. Baker Range used to have the old guy reload them and, and they would sell the relaods up front. But the new manager said the old guy (her grandad?) was getting too old to reload. I think they were looking for someone else to reload the casings for them. The old guy is still there, just sits there and watches TV.

Not that hard to separate metals when melted.
Sure. Also, lead melts at a much lower temperature than copper or steel so you can just melt out the lead first. To separate the steel you just need a good magnet.

At Precision they say anything on the floor is fair game.
I have so many cases of calibers I don't even load yet.
By the way, if you find dirty brass that you think is beyond repair, do yourself a favor and get a stainless tumbler:

I went to a range that you basically shoot into a wall of dirt. They would sift it out and sell the casings or reload then and sell at the range.
They don't allow steel casings for that reason.

Pros and cons.
Cons:
Startup cost sucks (around $250)
Wet media
Pros:
Never replace media again
Use water, dawn soap, and an additive
All cases come out looking identical
Never have to run twice
Can do large loads
Run on a timer for 4-5 hours and walk away
Do it.
