I just knew you'd say Mustad barbed shank.

Are those the cargo shorts of bass hooks?
Posted on 6/4/12 at 8:16 pm to DownshiftAndFloorIt
I use the mustad offset and the eagle 3/0.

IIRC, the only mustad hooks I ever bought were alligator hooks.
I wish alx would explain his joke. I seriously don't get it

Oh.
That might be what I have. Mine are red and that's about all I know. I bought them about 5 years ago.
ETA: Worm hooks are one thing I don't give a damn about at all. As long as I don't straighten em out, I like em.

He'll never admit to it, but that bastard agreed with me about something once. Don't remember what it was though.

Is a 5/0 hook larger or smaller than a 3/0?
Posted on 6/4/12 at 8:48 pm to Boats n Hose
I don't think the bass I catch could fit a 5/0 hook in their mouths
Posted on 6/4/12 at 8:55 pm to Tino
I've caught countless bass on 5/0 hooks

These is the ones I got.

Mine kinda look like that, but I don't think the point is curved back toward the shank like that. I could be wrong though.

I've got some of those, they've been good
