I can't find a lease in northwest LA, so my hunting has been very limited to the few weekends I go home to my parent's property.

I'm hoping to get a few hunts in while I'm home for the holidays.

Ecommerce consultant so I work from home. Mostly I just have to be available to take calls and emails during work hours of the week but I can be flexible with it if nothing is going on. Spent the last few years sailing a couple times a week instead of hunting but that was because I didn't have a lease and didn't want to hunt public land anymore. As of yesterday though, I've got a place I can hunt that's in the family so I'm excited about being off all next week. Gonna see if I can put some meat in the freezer.

My hours are generally Mon - Fri 8-5 for the most part so no hunting during the week. I'm in the stand every Saturday morning and evening and sometimes Sunday evening. Not near enough time during the weekend.

I get to hunt/fish the typical student schedule and generally go any weekend there isn't something major as far as school is concerned.

Fishing: family camp in dulac, friend of familys camp in Grand Isle, also another family camp in Stevensville for Lake Verret/Spillway fishing

Hunting: Married into a family that farms so we have plenty of access to land. They love to deer and rabbit hunt so thats what i usually end up doing - tons of doves around here too but they arent too interested. A major plus is the hunting land is 10 minutes from their house.

Same as OP. Farm, so I'm very busy during parts of the year, but am very lucky to be able to hunt some great land pretty much whenever I want.

PM in commmercial construction. Work 5 days a week and have been removed from my stomping grounds and have not located a place to hunt since marriage and moving. Hunting the family land in North LA is not worth the 4 to 5 hour drive on a regular basis with work's crazy schedule.
Next year will be different however.

I overseas 28/28 schedule so I get to hunt and fish as much
as I want. I do miss the rut every other year though.

I'm a straight commission based broker. Hours are pretty flexible but if I don't work I don't get paid. Usually I can tell if it's going to be busy and I can be here and if I've had a good month in the start I can take a little more time off later in the month.

But, my wife and kids (6 and 4) take up most of my time. My son (4yr old) has been dove hunting. I'll start taking him duck hunting when he is 6 or 7

Public School Admin with a lot of sick days. I go to work when I'm sick as a dog so I can save my days for fishing.

Manufacturing Engineer/Production Supervisor for an electronics manufacturing plant

I hunt every weekend from Oct the 1st to Jan the 31st and fit in 2 weeks of vacation during the rut, except this year, my wife and I expecting baby #3 anytime so I screwed myself out of hunting the rut this year, literally screwed mysel out of it.
