I don't think I planned any of this in a calendar year, but it seemed to evolve as the year progressed. I must admit that I totally enable him to do these things, but I do not force or beg him. he is the outdoor type and he loves to do this stuff. I could not be happier that he is not the video game type of kid.

im missing a few pics of our trips to Toledo bend this summer, as he caught quite a few big bream. This thread is more about his accomplishments this year. Friday, Dec 26 we are leaving for our deer camp in Arky after finally getting some good bucks on camera. I am looking forward to him getting some horns on the ground!

first 3 bucks on camera in our new spot:

Helluva year. But you may have jumped the shark and ruined 2015 by comparison.

that is my fear. all subsequent years and trips may struggle to uphold the standard set forth.

I hope to be able to have similar experiences with my son. He's only a year old now, so it'll be a while. But I'm sure there's no better feeling in the world!

Awesome pics with some great big smiles. Don't sweat a bad year next year, looks like he is hooked for life. Tip of the hat to you sir for winning at being a dad.
