Nah, wind was blowing 15-20 both days. BUt as soon as the weather gets right, you can bet ill be out there. Started tying my own flys too, so that will be interesting

Made the same mistake I learned 3 years ago. Do leave fish to go find fish.

Learned a new lesson as well. The 2.5 gallons of oil behind the seat of your truck doesn't help you at all when you are in the boat!

Nope, our second stop we found a 25 foot area that was holding fish but they were picky and slow as hell. Had 2 three and some change and one two and a half in the well. Another team saw me land a fish as they were passing by. We made a decision to try some of our other areas but couldn't pick up anything on them. When we came back an hour and a half later that team was sitting on the spot. We just kinda grinned at each other as I made a U-turn.

DFI Oil is $70 a gallon at Bobs, BTW!

Indeed, I find this time of year if you find them stacked beat on them until you know they are done or until time runs out. I am sure we could have picked up some more 3's.
