A friend of mine is getting married this May in the north shore area. I'm looking for ideas on things to do the day of the wedding. None of us are from this area and we all enjoy the outdoors.

TIA

Depending on the date in May if spring squirrel season is open, go shoot some tree rats

I would check out Covey Rise, can go shooting, maybe a quail hunt (not sure time of year) or clay shoot

Could look into Tallow Creek also, but heard its gone downhill

DO NOT go to Tallow Creek! That place is a total shite hole. Not worth the time, money, or gas to even drive out there.

Id either go to Covey Rise or go drinking.

Covey Rise you can shoot trap and they can arrange lunch there afterwards.

Beer-Barley Oak, Old Rail, Abita
maybe gnarley barley?
