Funnily enough the State of MS says we are in the range of two species, one from Arkansas and the other from Florida and it is addressed in state game laws.

While there once was a population in MS it has been 100 years since a proven sighting, they were killed off around the same time as the bears.

The women are starting to outnumber the men. I just have to wonder if there are really that many outdoors women around TB. I personally don't know many.

I have seen a black jaguar in person, didn't know it was technically a jaguar, it was a big black jungle cat so we just called it a panther.

It lived in a cage at a nearby house that had many exotics in the 80's before all that shite got banned. In Georgia.

It's not impossible that collectors had escapees.

In fact, this particular family got run off by new GA laws and went to AL, but not before releasing all their peacocks. There were wild ferrel peacock flocks roaming Cobb County for many years after that.

Stop. We all know black jaguars and black leopards exist. Bubba didn't see one on the hunting club.

I’m not sure of the back story of your post, but my Paw Paw killed a big black cat, between 100-120lbs, with a long tail, in 1985 in southern Rapides parish. We all assumed it was a panther and was illegal to kill, but it was tearing into his chicken house one night and he shot it and left it right where he shot it. I saw it, as did my dad and his 5 brothers and approximately 10 Of my cousins. I’d be happy to submit to a polygraph if it somehow advanced science. I suspect all of my cousins have pretty vivid memories of it as well and would do the same.

If I meet 10 people, 9 believe in black panthers, 8 have an uncle or father who have seen one, 6 have heard one scream like woman and 4 have personally seen them.

My wife’s uncle swore up and down that he saw a mountain lion killing some chickens. Dude got pissed when I told him he was full of shite and that there are no mountain lions around Opelousas. Turns out it was a big hair brown dog.

What thread are y’all talking about? It sounds like it might have some comedy in it.

It's fantastic, but you probably have to join the group,

You might be joking but I do believe they can sense certain types of light.

I’m derailing this thread, but there was a group of guys on some rural land that were being terrorized by the squatches. They put out motion lights around the house. Next thing you know they start seeing random sticks laying in the yard. They realized that anything that walked past those sticks toward the house would set off the lights. Smart animals.

Seriously? All this terrorization, but not a single picture or video?
