We can joke all you want, but that was a pretty lame comment to throw out there.

Thanks, I'm looking online for designs but most are crazy arse designs
Seriously now, you can build it, but can't figure out how to draw up a simple 12x12 shed and estimate your materials?

I built a 10x10 Tuff Shed last year using Home Depots plans (they are free online). However, I did not buy their kit. I made all my own cuts and saved me a few hundred bucks.

I'm sure I can draw some up, I was just noticing while looking online how crazy some of the designs are.

If you are limited on space, build a barn style with a loft.

The 12x16 "Hot Box"... it isn't pretty, but it's dry and has a big enough door to store 4 wheelers when you aren't there.

And they are right about 12x12 or 12x16 making the most use of plywood with minimal cuts and waste.

We used 4x4 post and sat them in the pre poured concrete footings. It made it easy to raise and level the floor on unlevel ground. The roof has an inch of drop every foot of run I think.

Put osb walls to make skinning it in sheet metal easier and insulate it more than it would be with just tin siding.

Tin siding to protect the walls...

Total cost came to $1600 more or less.

Like I said, it isn't pretty, but it's a 4 wheeler shed on a deer lease. If you put nice vinyl siding on it and trimmed out the door frame it could be back yard acceptable.

If you are going the metal panel route, try Amark Metals
in Haughton, right off I-20. Their metal is usually cheaper than McElroy and they are easy to deal with.

The siding and trim go a long way in dressing it up.

Before that, you just want it to be square.

Go look at Lowes and take pictures from the inside of one the size you want to give yourself an idea of design.
