Facebook marketplace is a good start. Also , check Craigslist. There is a gentleman on Flannery Rd in Br that sells used tractors. His name is Terry. A good friend just bought a low hour Kubota mx5200 from him for a good deal.

Just picked one up from him a few months back. Keeps a decent selection, and usually has a handful of nice low hour Kubotas. His price was great for what I was shopping at the time.

Anything 2008 or before will not have any emissions such as DPF or DEF

I bought a 30 HP Ford 4WD Front loader 12 speed for $1000 on Facebook. Needed a clutch and som3 other stuff.

If you’re in the BR area look up Terry’s tractors. He runs a church youth group over by N harrels ferry and sells to fund the group. Got a great deal on a Lightly used Kubota L4600 with a front bucket back in 2018 for 15K. Only had 253 hrs in it when I bought it.

I’m in Ga & have a 5045E for sale. No emissions. If you want it you can have it for $13K. I wanted $14K but if you’re driving that far I’d drop it $1K for “trouble”

Has a skid plate on the bottom which after having both of my other tractors get damaged by running over trees and stumps I realized how useful it is.
I bought it from a friend to help him out and just trying to recover some funds. Only used for mowing roads and light grading for housing developments

I would look for a good used 2013-2010. 2014 started all the new emissions crap. Mine is a 2013. My buddy has a 2015 and he wishes he would have bought a 2013 or little older.

The 5045e has been around awhile if that’s what he meant. I looked at the 45 and 55’s before I bought my Kubota in 2011.

Every ad says “Sacrifice” F that guy- he’s buying them at auction or jockeying them from dealers. Buying cheap and then remarketing via FB marketplace.

Buy tractor for “church” Depreciate to help church maintain non profit status. Then when he sells for cash, pocket the money.
If he ever gets audited, the IRS man is going to be looking for a FLEET of hundreds of tractors that don’t exist anymore.
If you want a DEAL on a used tractor- go to Auction Time, and search the model you want. Talk to the dealer thats selling them- many times dealers just don’t want to deal with the trades if they sit for a few months. They will be happy to get trucking lined up for you.
ETA- if you are buying a used tractor in that class- Kubota and no other brand. There isn’t a Kubota model out there that has hidden problems, and you will sell it for what you paid for it years down the line.
