Yesterday evening we jumped a big doe as soon as we rode up on our pond's dam. My 5 year old son looks down and notices the fawns. They were maybe 10 yards from us. We just eased on past and got out of there so we wouldn't disturb them any more than we already had.

I see 2 good trees to hang a climber on come October.

Oh deer. I thought you’d fawn all over my post, but you’ve bucked the trend.

I’ll just show myself the doe and get outta here.

Cool picture. One year I had a doe with twin fawns hanging around my yard(5acres) and saw them frequently.
Got any more longhorn pictures?

Your son's got good game eyes! He might have a good future as a hunter.

Good pic!
I was riding with my BIL near his house way back in the woods when he suddenly stopped.
There was a tiny fawn nestled down in the long grass about 2 feet from the public road. How in the world he spotted it, I have no idea!

I have had this happen a couple times but both times the doe got out about 200 yards and just went crazy blowing and running around.
