Just wait for one to look up at the sky, and it will drown itself. You won’t even have to fire a shell.

I’ve heard that if you set up a pop up blind before a rain, they will seek shelter in the blind with you.

Killed a many turkey in a light rain and right after a heavy rain. If you kill one check his craw and see if it’s not full of snails. Like crack to a turkey. I bet it will be full of them. 60% chance here in Alabama and I’ll be going.

Season gonna close on the same day no matter if it rains every day. Gotta go when you can.

If you thought they stunk when they were dry, you’re gonna love cleaning a soaking wet one...

My experience is on rainy days the toms walk the logging roads along ridges and come into the green patches. They don’t seem to gobble while it is raining but you don’t have to get into the hollows. Right after the rain stops they will gobble and strut even if it is later in the morning. This is in the red hills in Monroe county.
