Charles Daly single shot 3” 12 gauge 18” barrel with vortex venom red dot. Had to get the trigger worked on (which was a chore) but love the gun. Light as could be, compact and easy to carry. Very effective.

If you're going the retay route I definitely look at the weatherby sorix turkey addition.

I bought a Mossberg Silver Reserve O/U turkey gun in 12 gauge. Upper barrel is full choke and bottom is modified. Comes in MO green leaf. Short gun and kicks like a pissed off mule. Easy to maneuver with in the woods. Warne rib mount for Burris Fastfire works great.

Old arse Remington 11-48 12ga, my shoulder is not looking forward to if I see one this weekend. I guess I could take the Stevens 940a 20ga crack, but I better not miss. Yes I will get a new shotgun one day.

I shoot my youth model 870 20 gauge that I got in 1991. It is lethal with tss.

I have the Retay masa mari in 20 ga. Carlson 555 choke with truglow shotgun scope. Using APEX TSS 9 shot. Patterns out to 70yds. Killed 2 turkeys last weekend at 55 and 52 yds. Setup would also work with a red dot like a Vortex viper.

I got a Winchester SXP 12 gauge last year for about $300 and it’s a great dedicated turkey gun. It’s a 26” 3.5” barrell in Bottomland pattern and very smooth to shoot

Any 12 gauge 3.5” is going to. I’ve never been concerned actually hunting, the adrenaline and only shooting once or maybe twice never bothers me.
Now, if you get a couple boxes and want to pattern that’s a different story all together.
