I am just now leaving clinic and headed to the house call. Then to another house to check a friends stove and figure out why it won't work. Then home to the wife and kids and hopefully a hot meal and cold drink. Then out to the lease to fill feeders for another upcoming OB hog hunt.

Elderly neighbor lady called me a lil bit ago and said there was a cottonmouth on her dock.
I take the shotgun over, and there is a fat pine limb about 3 1/2ft long!
I should have shot the limb, told her I killed the snake and asked for a bannana pudding in return

It was pretty cool what they were doing. Only hard part really was done by the environmental engineers, and that was calculating the height and depth of the dunes, how much would move with tides and storms, etc. It was basically like what they do with the beaches in Florida, but having to separate the fines from the sandy material being dredged and putting them in the correct place.
The rest was just logistics, and didn't seem hard at all. As always though, COE and oysterman were a PITA even though no oysters lived there. Everyone wants a piece of the pie

Company was called Coastal Engineering Consultants and is behind Ichiban on Essen. Majority of it seemed like common sense to me.
