How far up are they. I’m making my first Dulac run of the winter here pretty soon, figured it was getting close

Got out of the weather one day about 40 years ago at their camp.

Very kind older couple there that day.

Doubt they're still with us. Good people.

The 3 in the Bs were my Uncles (Badeaux’s) and yeah they’ve been gone quite awhile. I made my first trip down there in the mid 70s

Go on a day with good tide range and drift any of the ponds and bays around four points.

Caught em all on artificial shrimp baits of different brands under a cork.

The fact is that the trout population will be fine. There were a lot of small trout caught during the summer. The persistent east winds have pushed good water into southeastern Louisiana. The biggest problem with the lack of catching was the river water that compromised the environment. I expect to have a productive fall and winter.

Jeremy? We own a marsh camp on Oak Bayou about 1/4 mile from 3B. Taking the kids down this weekend, so any pointers are appreciated. Haven't been down in a while.

Nah, Troy. But there were 3 that owned it and only one had sons so I’m sure some in-laws in it don’t know very well that use it. Probably into the 2nd or 3rd generation down by now. I use it for a pit stop myself every few years and see Troy about as much. Haven’t stayed there In forever

I don’t have a pointer, haven’t been down that way since about February but soon

Caught every cast for 2 hrs under the lights on Houma Nav up towards the pontoon Bridge last Thursday from 8 - 10p. 12 Keepers. So they are all the way up. Saw more trout that night than I did running all over Dulac last winter.

Trout get murdered at the Gulf Island lights around World Series time. Might make a trip soon.

Did best I could today with a late start and 2 kids under 5. Put about 18 in the boat on 2 stops. Did some culling but stayed close to the camp.
