Trijicon MRO vs Aimpoint ACO

I am looking for a new red dot for AR.
I found the MRO for $375 (new) with mount or ACO for +/- $300 (used). Which one would the OB choose & why?

Forget the ACO and go PRO. It really depends on size and stuff. Both are plenty durable. Different batteries and different footprint is all.

I'd probably lean to the MRO because the optic is a bit smaller than the ACO, or it at least appears that way.
Having said that, I highly doubt Aimpoint would make a crappy product, even a budget one. The micro on my BCM has been turned on since I put it on the rifle 3 years ago. It has never lost zero and is rugged as hell. Aimpoint has been nothing but good to me.
Only thing I can personally say about Trijicon is that the 2 RMRs that have been on my M&P Core have both been excellent. Granted it's a different type of optic, but they still build quality gear.
I doubt you could go wrong with either but I'd lean to the MRO for smaller size.

Forgot to mention, the MRO has allegedly had issues with magnification in that it actually has 1.1 or 1.2x. That's something I read a while back. Maybe they fixed it.

It was 1.1 and it had a slight blue hue. It’s been fixed with serial number 89k+

I would go MRO over the PRO or ACO. The MRO is smaller and has the same size field of view if not a little larger. Mine is one of the ones with the blue hue to it, but it's only really noticeable inside. Once outside you can't tell.
My MRO replaced my PRO on one of my rifles and I would never go back with a larger red dot again. Once you go with a micro/mini red dot those large ones feel like a brick.

Besides the larger field of view, which is partially remedied by the larger objective on the MRO, I don't really see any benefit to a large red dot optic. Maybe there are some aspects of large optics that I'm not thinking of but I too am pretty satisfied with my Micro on my BCM. The whole rifle is light and the optic has a very small footprint on top of it.

I shoot RDS with both eyes opened so my FOV on all of them is pretty much the same on all of them, barring any ridiculously large or ill placed flip caps. The 1.1x, blue tint and close enough price to the PRO is what kept me from ever getting an MRO, but if they have fixed that I may check them out. Less weight is always a good thing, although I've never ended a shoot thinking the PRO or similar sized RDS were weighing me down.

They are fixed in sn 89k+ but a lot of people still reporting receiving old stock.

I have requested from the vendor to confirm serial number is 89,000+.
Thanks for input.
