If you guys want a really good yak trip, go down to Hell Hole Bayou. When you get to lake stop and offload your yaks. Outboards dont do well in that lake, neither do prodrives for that matter. Shallow, tons of oyster beds and reds are fricking everywhere.

West of bay junop. Fiddler lake would be another good one. REAL shallow, I see a ton in there also.

That's a long ride. I did catch some trout a while back in redfish bayou hole which is close to that. Might go take a look. it's just gas.

Bay Junop and blue hammock are great areas. They can get shallow and muddy in a hurry though. That was my original stomping grounds for reds back in the day.

Not in that spot. I'm back in bayou labutte in my boat right now. Water is dirty.
