You can do the same thing with Ford or Chevy right now.

Thats why hardly anyone buys a 1 or 2 year-old used truck.

It will run with the best of them and it is currently stock. Before I put the heavy 305/55/20 BFGs I could see 18-19 hwy but now I see 16-17. This is running 70-75 across flat LA hwys, it's just a heavy arse truck. The loaded down bed doesn't help either.

Once the warranty runs out, STS (or someone similiar) will be getting a phone call.

I have a 2011 Tundra Platinum and could sell it today for very close to what I paid for it 2yrs ago.

That's not true. If you bought it off a new dealers lot, there is no way in hell you could get close to what you paid...unless you consider "very close" to mean $10,000. Show us your bill of sale. I can show you the value today. Brother has run dealerships for 20 years.

Good point. I did not mean that my F150 would only lose $200 from new but I hope he didn't either. I believe that he was trying to say that Toyotas hold their value well. We'll, guess what? A lot of trucks do.

Silly Jap truck owners.

Paid 38,500 for 2010 KR 150 with everything in Dec 09. Traded it in Dec this year for 31,000. That's pretty damn good IMHO

I'd rather have a larger window than the aforementioned midgets Penis. I actually missed the Window dip when I had to drive my dad's 1ton last year (Dodge).

All of this "bail out hate" should be more directed at the Govt. more than the companies that took the bailouts IMO. All they did was ask for it, the govt is who actually gave them the money, so be pissed at them.
Pissed is not really the right word, maybe closer to disdain.. And for the record, I have disdain for both of them.
It's very clear that you don't like Toyotas, that's your choice. Kinda like chocolate and vanilla, everyone has their favorite. I don't really care for "alot of stuff", that I've known, but that's my choice. No skin off either of our backs, right?

eta: for "political correctness"..

If you paid 40k and were offered 39.5K and turned it down, I'd go easy on the "dumbass" comments.

I turned it down because it would cost me closer to $50k to replace it and its paid for.

Wanna try again?

Regardless of bailout, GM and Ford are both made by the goons of UAW. At least Toyota is made in USA and not by union labor. fricking scum
