Not much beats a 4hr session at the shooting range!

Also brought my CMP M1 Garand out but forgot to get a picture...

Looks like fun. I haven't spent the day at the range in a long time. I need some new ear protection...mine regular cheapo ear muffs drive me insane

Sunday was pretty packed when I got there around 11am. Pistol line had some openings so I went there first. By the time I was ready to go to rifle there were a couple open benches.
It's hit or miss. If you don't know, I'm also a range officer there. Some weekends it could be perfect weather but we're slow as hell. Others can be cold, overcast and windy as hell, like yesterday, but it's super busy.
Only way to know is to go!

I go there once or twice a month and only one or two times that I've been there would I consider it ridiculously crowded. Most of the time the rifle and hang gun ranges are about 60% full and there may be one shooter at the shotgun range.

I know but it’s still too crowded for my liking.
It’s 45 minutes for the to drive there or an hour for me to drive to the 300 yard range in thibidoux. I’ll pay the extra 14 dollars for there to only be one other person there maybe. And the 300 yard acces
