That's the problem with you whipper snappers these days, no commitment.

Forebay and we picked up some on the other side that has timber and fields. Hunted it with a friend last year, didn't do too well but in the afternoons the mallards poured into that forebay at dusk.

Used to have the center ponds leasted. They will fill up with mallards after shooting hours and fly out just before shooting hours. Watch out for Mr greenjeans, he will watch from the road or level.

Ok I guess you guys have a point. If the bird counts against your legal "duck" limit, it counts. having said that, mergansers, coots, marsh hens & bigfoots are not allowed.

Fish, where do you hunt?

Most of the time on WMA's, east central La with a few tirps to Reggio or area down that way.

It's not really a commitment deal, it's more to blame in the lack of organization in this thread. Choirboy and myself pretty much had our team set then he got cherry picked so I then had no team mates. We are now going to take a stand. You old fart

OP has been updated & as of now "spoonies & black jacks" are in...

so choirboy is officially off of teal team 6?

I'm adding 34 & choirboy to "Team Fap-N-glide" ... You need 3 more members & before you ask... Hell no you cannot have spicy stacy on your team. If she is gonna play a mans game she is going on a rotation so everyone gets a turn!!!

Fishfighter, I'm only 34 but am old school to the bone. What are the prerequisites to joining team old school? I have a few gray hairs and mitral valve prolapse. I also am an alcoholic according to my wife, but I go to work everyday!

So this is a common thing? Did you guys ever have any good hunts out there? We went a couple times in the afternoon and the birds were already there so I think there is potential for a few good hunts.

Cold fronts, we did good along with early in the season. What ponds you will be hunting? 40ac pit or the ponds east of that next to the level?

And yes, the man does watch the area.

There is 3 blinds along the levee and another that is further out towards the middle. We hunted the middle one close to the gate. But they had this big sled blind on top of levee. I had my guys build a pit to put in its place. I'm more excited about the timber on the other side.
