Team Spoonie needs 2 peeps... We hunt east zone mostly with a couple trips planned to venice this year... got to get the big duck bird count up.

We have part of the 40 acre pond. The others in the forebay are to the south east toward the levee road.

Your middle blind will produce more ducks. A lot of teal, spoonies, few mallards, grays, pintails and redheads. Early in the season you can bag a few woodies too!
If you ever need someone to hunt, let me know. I'm retired.
That is one easy area to hunt. Pissed me off big time when we lost our lease out there. Miss that 12 min drive to hunt.

Part of the lease that we had, had the very north end of the 40 ac pit. Didn't hunt it. We were to the west in the center of the forebay.

I have a few that was past down from my Dad. This time of the year he would of had them repainted.
He used to market hunt with a puntgun mounted in a pirouge. Now that is OLD SCHOOL.

I live in Walker. Tulane in S Btr. DSS in Springfield.
We hunt public land mostly. Occasionally we get a hunt in some rice fields or crawfish ponds.
