Think I’m about to pull the trigger on a new 26 model. Anybody have one? I was going to go with the 800 model but can get the 1000 for cheaper. From my research, the original issues have been sorted out since its release a few years ago. Plan to use it around my farm and hunting camp. Trail riding will mainly be dirt roads. I have no desire to cross rivers or go to atv parks, just looking for reliability and comfort for my family.

I rode in one of these coon hunting last winter and was impressed with the quietness of this machine compared to some of the others i had been on. You could actually talk without feeling like you are yelling. Not positive on which size i was on, thinking the 1000. Seems like it would be perfect for these applications and i would be very interested, if i was in the market for one.

A friend has several on his Texas ranch. After several years of hard use he has no complaints.

Guy at our camp has one. Over the last year he(me) have really enjoyed the buggy. It’s a fantastic all around machine.

Bought one a couple months ago and no regerts at all. Rides like a caddy and all the power one would ever need, especially for my use. Primarily using it for the camp in grand isle. I was looking at the 800s but like you said, the 1000s were basically the same price and much more of them. Only thing I don’t like is the way it starts, it turns over 3-4x before starting. It’s apparently a common thing and was implemented the fire issues on the 1000s.

I have an 820 ranch edition.

I love it. Mine had 7100 miles and 1100 hours and still going strong. Just stay on top of your maintenance schedule and you’ll be driving this for a LONG time. Been at work horse at my deer camp. My only complaint is that it can’t handle semi deep water well.

The location of the CVT belt is low, and when you drive through any sort of high water, water gets into the CVT belt chamber, getting the belt wet and causing it to slip.

There is a drain hold down at the bottom, so all the water drains out. You just have to sit there and let it idle for a bit for it to dry out before driving again.

Good info. Hoping to talk them into the ranch version for same price I’ve been offered. Either way planning to get one soon.
