I would love to see a geographic mapping of those that have no problem drinking around firearms and those that have a problem with it.
I think it would be very telling.
Also, a breakdown on age and whether you have kids.

The ratio of people that have no problem with it vs the people that do would be about 10/1. In the circle of people I know. It's a pretty big circle.

Geez didn't realize people were against this. At my camp it's weird if you aren't drinking after your morning deer hunt or not drinking during the morning dove hunt

Why do people think they have to alter their state of mind in the woods? When i step into the woods, my mind is altered

In many states it's a crime to shoot a firearm while intoxicated.
I'm not comfortable around people drinking heavily and shooting. During my drinking days, I wouldn't touch a gun after a couple of beers.

If you ever make a hunt at the farm, I will meet you at the road with beer. Drinking a couple on stand isn't a big deal for me, provided I don't have a kid with me. We don't get hammered while we hunt, but several will be knocked down around the skinning pole and/or fire afterwards.

My camp would ban hunting way before banning drinking.

Ding, ding, ding. Last thing you want is an AD and alcohol on your breath...
