Yeah I can stand and sit on it fine. It doesn't need to weigh 9000lbs to do that. I prefer to stand on my feet though

If you sit down and fish on my boat, your trip is over.

But can your ice chest survive cliff falls and axes? I think not. Those are all attributes critical to an ice chest.

I stand on mine site fishing, walking around the boat, etc. I'm not gonna test my luck with a cheap arse ice chest and bust my arse in my boat.

eta: If you're sitting down in the boat trying to lazy fish, there is a good chance you're crossing someone and not paying attention.

eta: thats how fish get missed, props get busted with fishing line, people get hooked, and knots happen everywhere

If you're gonna sit, put your shite up and enjoy your food or beverage.

Seems like you're reaching for reasons to justify a Yeti. I've never in my entire life had an issue with standing or sitting on a regular ice chest.

I'm not trying to be an a-hole dude, but I don't understand how the height of the rod tip being 2 feet higher while I fish standing up will eliminate any of that if I apparently have no idea what I am doing

All this from sitting down and fishing? Come on man. It's not like your IQ drops by half when you sit down to fish.
