I've also heard rumors of this nonsense. Even been in debates about it. Modern age women don't want kids calling them ma'am. "Yes ma'am" is rude and the polite response would be "Yes" instead of "uhhuh".

Women have issues they need resolved. I'm saving that for the ot one day though when i have all day to post and feel like kick ant nests.

Sounds like some liberal shite
I feel bad though because I don't respond with ma'am or sir often enough. I guess it wasn't ingrained in me enough when I was little

Yea, part of the whole "Kids should be treated as young adults" mentality. That mixed with some "all people are equal" mentality

Might get me the banhammer
I think women have a good bit to do with the amount of shitheads you see our age. But i digress. This is for a later date.

Other than beer, Flex-Seal and Seafoam are the two greatest things that come in a can.

It might actually go well. Ive talked to some women about it before and the only one who didnt see it the same was as me is a full blown extreme feminist.

Shite I yes ma'am to women slighlty older/same age as me.

I've encountered several women that didn't appreciate it. Had to explain that its a sign of respect, nothing more, nothing less. I've also been complimented on my step sons manners and how he has always used it with teachers and other adults. Don't think its a sign of the times, just a flashing warning sign pointing out liberal counts that you probably don't want teaching your kids

Somewhat of a hijack back to yankee talk, but I've been told by a friend from up north that women up north take offense to being called ma'am. Like saying yes ma'am is impolite or offensive. Said because it makes them feel old. What's up with that shite?
And by up north I mean like New England.
I had a lady from New Jersey ask me to stop saying "yes ma'am" to her on the phone. She was buying a house down here and getting some 'shonce on it. So I started saying "yes, bitch" instead.
