Ordered a Banish 45 suppressor today, got a free .22 can. They said an 8 to 9 month wait. Silencer Central set up a free trust for me as well.

Sweet!
Is this your first suppressor? It’s addictive.

Got the same one. At my door in exactly 6 months from purchase date.

I picked up my Q Thunder Chicken today. Will Go on my Seekins SP10 in 308.
I signed my eForm 4 in May.

Serious question fellas: why the rage over suppressors? Hog hunting, night hunting, or killing someone in a crowded room?
I’ve got several rifles and haven’t ever wanted or had one. Seems like a lot of trouble for not much gain.

Yes I do crop protection and predator control. 2 guys dumping 60 rounds at a sounder isn't pleasant without suppressors and communication is impossible.
Both my deer rifles are suppressed. Much nicer not rattling the box stand. My kids are more willing to shoot and sit near.
What is the hassle? Electronically signing a few pages and waiting 8 months? (yes the wait sucks but you aren't doing anything different not waiting)

I bought my first one in May and now I’m waiting on 4 to come in

As Tom Petty once said, “The waiting is the hardest part.”

Hearing protection #1. Hearing loss runs in my family.

Yep. I'm in my late 40s but my hearing is not great.
I spent over 20 years inside an Abrams tank. The turbine engine, noise from shooting the 120mm main gun, 50 cal, and 2 7.62 machine guns along with wearing a CVC helmet with intercom and 1 or 2 SINCGARS radio speakers have done enough.

I have found that new shooters are more apt to shoot more and enjoy shooting more with a suppressed weapon.
Outside of the “cool” factor for them, the absence of the loudness seems to help them.

Thanks for the answers. Never fails that I got downvoted but I expected nothing less.

I’m still debating on my first. I looked at the Banish deal. The reviews were mixed. I’m leaning towards going with silencer shop and starting off with a rugged oculus 22. Will silencer shop wave trust fees if I buy through them? Any real time reviews on banish suppressors?

Single shot trust is $25 at silencer shop

Probably because you haven’t had one.
My son has never shot a rifle without one. I don’t want him to have the lack of hearing I do.

I have the Banish 30 and love it. The only thing I hate is cleaning the baffles!!!! Was tough to get them out and cleaning them took a bit. Finally but them in my media tumbler for a couple of hours.

How long did it take Silencer Central to send you the paperwork to get the process started?
