Just a small update.
Today I will be showing a nephew how to build a pirogue. I'm really not up to it, but I will be just sitting back and supervise the build. I know it's a short notice, but if anyone wants to come by and watch to get a idea, y'all more then welcome. We will be building two, today and tomorrow.
Another update on my brother that has been fighting cancer.
He has been in the hospital the last week and half. Complications from everything else is taking him down. He is starting to give up the will now.
I need your prays for him.

Thanks guys. Been a long day and had to call it quits at noon. Just don't have it in me.

Damn. I'm sorry, sir.
Cancer is a real bitch and has taken more than few of my family members.
But a lot more have survived it multiple times. Stay strong with him. It helps.

I remember this thread when it was started. I was living in South Florida at the time and would have loved to have been part of the pirogue build.
