Looks good. if you have any nails that are sticking out. Back it up and nail that SOB in.

Been outside all day and I'm beat. Got a 47" pirogue going today along with building a new fountain/pump for my pond. Did I say I'm beat? I need a break and will be heading to the fishing camp tomorrow for the weekend.

I thought I counter sunk them enough, but when you go to takng offf wood and putty with the sander, some ended up high again...I still have to go get the brass screws and replace them and putty over those holes as well...so far we've used a 16oz. Can of plastic wood...need to pick some more up when I go get those screws...

Dam, you might be cutting off to much at a time. A small tube should do.

We've filled all of the interior knot holes..filled over the counter sunk nails and the gaps between the plywood and bowstems...we wasted probably half as working time was slim...and it would dry out on the putty knife in a bout 30 seconds....the tubes may be the best bet, because of leaving the can open and dipping the knife in and such was drying it out...

With the heat we have, you have to work very fast. To clean your putty knife of dry putty, just run a sander over it.

Yeah I had trouble working mine too. And didn't have any turpentine to thin it out.
