This really is true ... Except during football seaon.

When Tamu beat bama last year I walked around with a grin for a week. She was not impressed.

We're both Hog fans. So, we we're equally pissed and disgusted last yr!

This is where I differ from the norm.

I guess it's because I was raised by a very strong independent woman. My dad is semi retired and she's still rolling in a few K each year.

I want a woman who has her own ambitions and goals. I know the two don't necessarily go hand in hand (an income and ambitions) but I like to keep them together.

Not to say I'm super greedy and can't provide. It's just that having two incomes makes things easier. Well, I guess ill find out for sure in the future after I marry an ole ball and chain.

Nursetyger bleeds purple and gold as much as me.

She even surprised me one day by turning a room in our house into a decked out LSU shrine. I have some pics of it somewhere. I'll try to find them.

I knew for sure I made the right choice in woman when I saw her admiring a purse that cost about $3500. I offered to get it for her, but she said, "If I'm gonna spend that kind of money, it'll be for a Barrett .50cal or another hunting lease." TRUE STORY!

Those that work and have ambition paradoxically seem to be less materialistic. I guess maybe because they know where that shite comes from and money has a meaning.

Mine would rather spend money on guns now, but I still buy her nice girlie things for her birthday and Christmas. But she did get her Sig for our anniversary.

You'd think she was a guy if you looked at her list of purchases. Hell she has 3 manly vehicles..a Camaro SS, Jeep Rubicon and a Tahoe with a 6" lift and Mickey Thompson tires and rims. For christmas I got her a 4 wheeler of her on and trailer so she can go hunt wherever she wants.

My g/f is the typical 23 yr old old - purses and clothes. Hoping one day I can instill the want for guns! I've got her liking the outdoors, I just need to get some firepower in her hands

In 10 years the gun will be worth the same or close. The purse, nada.

That's my argument anyway.

Mine is really a girly girl. She just likes guy stuff too. She teaches cheer and gymanstics after work and used to model some for Dillard's and some other local stuff. She like's the clothes and purses and bling (that she has alot of-she rarely leaves the house with less than $30,000 worth of jewelry on). I guess with me being extra manly and outdoorsy, it's rubbed off on her.

Actually high end bags and purses do as well.

ETA-I bought her a LV as part of her 1 yr of being in business gifts. Got it for $2000. This was 7 yrs ago. Same bag can be sold for $5,000.

Why can it be sold for 3k OVER purchase price? Please enlighten me because that makes so sense.

Why wouldn't someone buy a new one for 2k like you did?

You say that now, but as soon as you meet a hot piece that keeps your balls empty and your stomach full and enjoys doing it you won't care what her career ambitions are.

Don't know if the purses help them catch big game, but the pusses sure do!

Limited editions. Just like with guns and cars. I should add that she got it a cost, because she goes to market with a friend that owns an upscale botique. The mark up in the store would've been another grand.
