Hit the crab lady launch, caught 2 reds, a small flounder and a sheepshead. Buddy with me caught 4 reds.

We have caught plenty of “Bay Snapper” in Big Lake. Anytime we fish for reds with shrimp we end up getting one or two. Some up to 5lbs. They are a bitch to clean but are fantastic if you can cook them fresh.

I was helping a friend clean fish and grabbed the one sheepshead he had caught thinking it wouldn't be terrible. Yea I was totally wrong, it'll be the first and last sheepshead I'll clean.

Sidenote, the LKFC tournament in PAC this year has a sheepshead calcutta

Academy gift cards and a few bucks in my pocket. Any one know when academy puts their 12 ft yaks on sale?

Any good sub 500 deals

Just pond fishing here and there. Step above a pirogue. Not looking to be yak fishin red fish tournaments etc. just toss in truck and hit a pond or two in evenings

Anyone here have an Ice Mule for throwing fish in? I’m really interested in one, just want to make sure it’s worth it.

I used an older wet/dry bag the other day just to see if that works well. I put the first two reds in head first, then caught 6 bass and they went in easy. The 3rd red I put in tail first. Big Mistake! A couple casts later he came flying out of the bag right at me!

PSA-If you use a bag like that the larger fish go in head first and closing the top is a good idea.

My daughter gave me an IceMule that I think is too small for reds so I may pick up a larger one before summer
