50' ish. Another reason I like the figure 9 is I can be quick with changing lengths depending on the depth.

Is the figure 9 on the trolley ? Or is it fixed in the middle ?

Fixed in the middle. Two carabiners on each end. The end of the anchor line goes through the ring and then always attached to the figure 9, so the ring moves to position the anchor point on the yak. Then if I need to drop the anchor I just release the line at the figure 9 with a quick tug and im free.

Uh ok. This is a kayak thread not an ascend thread. You don't have to be sorry.

Ive got one of the new Invisiyaks. I got a free demo the other day and when I stepped in the yak, I plummeted to the bottom of the lake.

I thought my dad was gonna buy 2, but he's not. I'm sure as hell not dropping 1500 on a yak.

I shopped around for at least 6 months before deciding on mine. I wanted something good to fish on, but also really universal. It was around 1k with the angler package.

Then bought Aqua-Bound Manta Ray paddles.

I can't even drop the money on the ascend. Gotta save up a few hundred to drop on a climber and harness and related accessories for the fall. And some new arrows. And a blind bag and a couple other duck things.

Wasn't the point of my post at all. Most of you guys have boats and all kind of shite I'd love to have but can't afford right now.

I love and play guitar and get what I can. If someone posts that they just bought a Gibson ES 335, which is better than anything I have, I wouldn't get butthurt about it and consider it bragging.

It's a kayak thread so I posted what I use. Big deal.

I have been looking at getting a good kayak and have looked at most of the major brands. As of now, I think I'm going to get a Jackson Cuda 12 when they are available. I'd love to get a Hobie PA12 with the Mirage Drive but it ways over 100 lbs rigged out and would cost close to $3000 to buy and fully outfit it.

I'd like to hear from anyone who has experience with either the current Cuda or a PA.
