That seems to be the best lowrance that’ll fit into the hobie transducer cavity. I was gonna splurge and get the elite 5ti but then I saw the transducer, it’s YUGE.
I read somewhere that Hook gen2 is coming out shortly... y’all heard anything about that?

Hook is perfect for a yak. But I've heard complaints about the refresh rate of the map because of slow processing. That ain't a problem when you aren't going 65 - 70 mph.
Hopefully with a faster processor. Cause I'd like to upgrade to one on my bass boat. But don't want to shell out an arm and leg.

Anyone know where the Crab Lady launch is at Big Lake? And/or maybe any launch on the east side besides Fred's and Calcasieu Point?

Are you a LKFC member? It's on the launch map on the site but to make it easier its at Landing Road off of hwy 384. Apparently it's just a little rundown area that you can park, but you have to watch because it gets muddy.

From the homepage on the top right corner of your screen. There's a blue bar and a "Launches" option.

I'll look when I get home. I was beginning to think that place didn't exist.

Got the Jackson Coosa FD in today!!! Will report back once I take it out.

I've heard mixed reviews so far. The pros is it's fast and the prop/skeg does what it's supposed to do. The cons are it doesn't turn well and the tank well is small. All I want to know is if an AO 36 Cooler will fit or not.

Any of y’all fish the Leeville area? Where do y’all usually launch? Are the trout usually in there most of the fall/winter?
Posted on 10/18/17 at 5:58 pm to Uncle JackD
At topwater marina, public launch under bridge, combat launch on old hwy 1, or Bobby Lynns. Yes the trout are there fall and winter
