Probably until the end of daylight savings time, basically when it no longer becomes feasible to have enough light to be on the water until 7:30-8pmish....or until people just stop showing up, whichever happens first. Participation has been decent so far though at Lake Martin, this is the first time trying somewhere new.

Good deal, I'm curious to see how the new location works out. Lake Martin hasn't produced fish as consistently as I'd have liked for these so I'm hoping the change in area ups the catch numbers.

I'm tempted, but don't know if I can pull it off.

You catching fish at the Point just makes me hate the Point even more

And yea, the AO coolers are where it's at. I use a 36 and love it, it holds ice damn good too. They're the best fish bag I've used out of my Columbia PFG and my Native fish bag for my Slayer.

Cypremort point and Prien lake during winter. Elmer's, west cove during summer. And some spots near Hopedale but that's like a 4 hour drive for you.

If the rain holds off I might go to West Cove, choupique, or Shark Bayou on Saturday.

West cove launch closed until 19th I believe. I wanna head there once it re-opens though.

How's choupique? Never been

Yep, they're doing an oyster reef restoration project in West Cove right now so it's temporarily closed. I'd imagine even once it opens it'll still be a bit muddy for a bit.

Choupique isn't bad, it's about 30 minutes before you'd get to West Cove. Being a littler further north traditionally it's better in the fall than it is in the summer once the salinity rises a little, or so I've been told. I've only fished there a couple times and done decent.
