Thanks. Is everything still open like coastal bait (before bridge), Artie’s, etc... Anything seasonally closed down yet?

YAH, I didn't want to keep bumping the other thread but I think I heard the marsh between Old Settlement and Pelican Point is blocked off now for hunting season. BUT I think there may be a few fish around there and good water with the NE winds.

Yea I heard about the block off, I still may go give it a shot anyway. I haven’t been there since February.

I’m half tempted to try the west cove marsh too but only because I haven’t been back there in probably 3 years or so.

Birds have been working at the entrance of west cove off the canal but they have all been small fish.

It'll be like that through the weekend. Just look at the USGS bouys and you can usually get a 2-3 day pattern unless there are some crazy winds.

I haven't been in the marsh back there in several years but I'd imagine until this front comes through that shallow water will be pretty hot this weekend.

My first time back there I had to sit and watch as hundreds of flounder was jumping out of the water chasing bait, and I couldn't catch a single one of them.

I don't think I would ever recover from that.

Made the trip to PAC sat, winds did its part but that falling tide didn’t seem to show up until later in the afternoon
Managed to grind out a decent box with couple nice trout and bonus door mat!
