No doubt pretty sure we all do, but once you get on the water you’re never had to deviate from that original plan??
Sure I deviate, but I’m in a kayak. You can’t go that far off course. And I have a map. ETA: For example, when I'm learning a new area, this is the kind of map I bring. Screenshot on GoogleEarth, adjust the brightness and contract, print on legal paper, laminate. I keep it on the kayak floor so I can just glance down.

I understand you have your phone, But doing all that unnecessary stuff just takes away from time fishing, just like taking out your anger pole to find depth a quick glance of the screen and I’m done
A. When I look at the phone to see where I’m at I’m normally about to head in. And it takes what, less than a minute?
B. Sticking the anchor pole in the water takes a few seconds.

I don’t see where you’ve got this big leg up in fishing time. A minute or so when I’m ready to come in and a few seconds here and there to check depth.

You underestimate my ability to paddle for 30 minutes and have no earthly idea where I've ended up

My buddy is like that. Good having a guy like me around who pays attention.

If you’re looking, keep an eye out for used kayaks

I have been looking used. I have run out of places to look. Not a ton of great options that I can find used. Any suggestions on where to look online ?

Craigslist
Facebook Marketplace
Bayou Coast Kayak Fishing Club (BCKFC)

I got my first one from Masseys for like $300. They sell their demos cheap.

No Power-Pole Micro either. No8Easy2 wouldn't waste all that fishing time with manually anchoring the kayak.

Must have the wrong guy. Apologies.

Just saw that Feel Free is now selling the Dorado for $2549. That's with the Overdrive system and Lights. That's a pretty sharp looking boat.

It caught my attention from the icast videos last year, but as nice as it looked I'm surprised I still haven't seen someone in person with a Dorado

It’s a good looking platform no doubt. If you go to search the owner’s group on FB for that drive it’s a bloodbath. I have heard that feelfree is good with warranty stuff but still. I feel it’s like a direct competitor with the Titan and that’s a no-brainer to me.
