Yeah. We were wrong on the tide. Not sure that would have changed anything though. No signs of trout other than a couple catching shorts in a cut in the marsh.

Mung lost one. I caught one rat and had a larger one break my line. They could be caught in the old camp canal, but you'd have to wade through lots of trash to do so. I had pin fish, pumpers and small croaker nibbling on every cast with dead shrimp.

Big Lake has definitely been a struggle this year. I caught 3 Reds at PAC Saturday, but should have been an easy limit.

What happened to "This board doesn't know shite"?

I didn't hear of anyone catching much this weekend so y'all weren't the only ones struggling. I think I may hold off until September. Its just too hot and not enough fish right now.

I’m in the infant stages of looking at my next yak and I’m looking at pedal drives. In just peaking around, there isn’t a more feature rich boat than the lure 13.5 and they get no love in MS/LA. It’s a really smart layout and that seat looks incredible. Even has a wheel built in the keel to help transport. Outside of the front hatch (I’m a tankwell guy), not much to not like.

Not sure if you are in the stages of buying a kayak yet, but I just got an email from ACK saying they are doing 10% off all FeelFree and 3 Waters kayaks until June 8th.

I'll only go on overcast days until it cools off some. Saturday kicked my butt.

Never been there, but I've been to Chou pique Bayou many times. It can get too fresh at times. Check salinity before you go. Plenty of Reds in there.

Good heads up but not there yet. I’m happy with my current boat but went ahead and started throwing a lil cash here or there in a stash. Gonna sell my old 128t at some point. Whenever said stash gets to $2k I’ll start seriously looking.

Still can't believe you weren't able to get any pictures, I bet that was an amazing experience though and I'm jealous! I've been enjoying seeing the vids/pics on facebook from BB & MV

That's amazing. Where were you fishing?

When I lived in St. Pete for a summer, I knew several guys who had done this. It honestly petrifies me to think they'd jump and land on me accidentally.

Man you have no idea how pissed I didn’t get any pics or video. I should have had my phone out in case I had to take my own pics. Little did I know everyone would be hooked up. Everytime she was swimming on her side and I tried to get my phone out my dry bag she would take off again. I had a lot of heat on her too. We were fishing off perdido. But they are literally running from destin/ Navarre through orange beach. I don’t know how much longer the run will last till they get to Louisiana and Texas.

Looks like Pelican is planning to launch a Mirage Drive copy at iCast.
