The new Colt King Cobra is a nice revolver

And this from a purist that does not like the original King Cobra. Finally handled one today
Feels like a Colt, nice finish on the metal. I like the fact the cylinder locks in place like the old Colt V-springs of yore (Python, Detective Special, etc). The replaceable front sight is a nice touch.
More pros: No lock like the Smith, comfortable Hogue rubber (though I would replace with VZ type mainly for looks), 6 shots
Some cons: Barrel rollmark is just a little too far forward for me on 3” gun, molding marks on side of trigger and hammer, cylinder flutes might look better a little longer
Rumor is Colt is going to announce a 4” version with adjustable sights at the NRA show

I would buy this but not the one you posted.
Actually, I just noticed that these are $900.
Screw that.

I'll wait till Taurus comes out with the Cobra Kang

Really nice to see Colt doing this since S&W aren't what they used to be. As someone else noted, very expensive.

A 4" version might force my wallet. I already have a 3" gp100

Is that a matte finish on the body? That is one of my turnoffs.

It is a nice polish, not matte finish. The screws on the one I examined were polished to a high shine finish, which is a nice touch.
They can be bought for less than MSRP online.
