I'm average, but I don't need to flaunt it on here to prove I'm worth something to someone.

(I didn't like the Outdoor Board for a time because of people doing that.)

From what I've read, one of the most knowledgable people on this board is AboveGroundPool.

lilsnappa is the fishing expert.

Deez nuts #9 is the hunting guru
I've never really paid specific attn to who posts what but must be more passive than even I imagined cause I could not tell you a thing about either of these- or what they're post history entails.

Me? No. I wouldn't do that on this board.

I get quality reads/info from here, I just don't share much.

Lol no not trolling.

I was thinking squirrel, duck, rabbit i guess??

Move on to deer when I become an advanced duck/squirrel/rabbit hunter. Maybe dove?

What do y'all suggest?

Probably the cheapest and easiest thing to hunt from your list in South LA. Lots public land and little equipment needed.

This. Can get your stripes squirrell hunting. Learn patience and how to read the woods. Note what trees you find squirrels feeding in and in turn it will pay off for scouting for deer. The 12ga will cover everything from a dove to a deer with the right shells

Hunters safety course
Get gun
Go somewhere and familiarize yourself with it
Get a pamplet that gives dates on seasons in your area. It will list what WMA are close to you. Become familar with the rules and regs.

Baby steps Grasshopper if you plan on doing it on your own. If you have friend that hunt, beg them to show you the ropes
