Ram has the aforementioned issues plus the usual Chrysler crap

That’s no longer a corporation, and is simply just a separate brand now owned by the same company that owns the Ram brand.

Ford and Chevy both have that dumpster fire of a 9spd auto trans.

Man you know your stuff.

Thanks Mr. Obvious, it's Chrysler culture, Chrysler plants, Chrysler values and engineering legacy. You can call it some made up name all you want, if you were involved in the auto industry you'd know it's a Chrysler through and through.

I do know my stuff. They have both a 9 and 10spd auto jointly developed and used.We sell a lot of stuff to the Big Three. Ever been to Kokomo Transmission? Dearborn Stamping? Bedford Casting? No?

Next time you decide to be a smartass maybe reconsider.

I thought this thread was about Ram and related/competitive products aka “trucks”.

Please accept my apologies if you were talking about transverse engine glorified minivans.

It's like watching a slow moving train wreck. We obviously get no input on vehicle design as a lowly sub but you see the attitudes and culture clashes (not just union v. mgmt but also marketing v engineering, engineering v production, etc...) and wonder how they ever manage to make cars.

If u want to buy a truck where the gauge cluster goes out before you make the first payment go ahead. Oh and btw the gauge clusters are on a nation wide backorder so good luck with that!

Hope you like making payments on a truck that’s sitting at a dealership waiting on parts.

Not calling you wrong or right but Ford f150 only come with a 10 speed transmission. Not a 9. Where are you getting this or is there something everyone in the country doesn’t know?
