Was fishing on a pier under the lights. My buddy passed out on the pier and I hooked probably a 5# speck. I'm yelling at him to wake up to get the net(3am by this point)

I finally get it close and he scoops with the net three times and misses. He was trashed. I get it back close enough to net and he misses again. Fish threw the hook and swam off slowly all the way out of the lights. I punched him so hard in the back that he fell off the pier into the water

Would have been my best speck

The net was no where near me.

We had been catching small trout all night and had no need for a net.

i got some angry ones and some just plain stupidity

duck hunting in the wax this past season my buddy and i anchored the boat and started walking to what we thought was our blind, we walked to the wrong one (bc he kept saying it was this way), once we realized we were at the wrong blind we tried to walk to ours only to find other ppl in it which we couldnt do anything about, they shot a limit and we shot 3, i cussed him pretty bad and we almost went to blows and didn't talk the entire hunt, wasn't till we were halfway home that we squashed it

was fishing a bass tournament a couple years ago and i was in some very shallow shite moving into a cut the wind was also blowing me into and im messing with the trolling motor with my line still in the water, so i drop the rod and hit the tm and the line gets caught up in the prop...it flings my rod along with 2 other ones into the water breaking all 3, kinda yelled at my partner to help

heading to cocodrie with a buddy i put my rods in the back of his truck, we stop by his house and he puts a battery against the back cab which slid and broke my rods, he ended up buying me some new ones

took my dads anchor out of his boat when i was younger and used it in my flat in lake p, took off with the anchor down and broke it off, he was looking for it about a year later and i let him look all over the garage for it to no avail, still haven't told him about that one

Not really related but I had just started to play golf. I had made a couple pars up to this point but never a birdie. I put a 3 wood within 10 feet on a par 5. I was "I will make an eagle before my first ever birdie"

I putted over the hole and missed the birdie and missed the par put. I threw my putter into the water.

Then the next hole I made an 80 foot birdie putt with my friends putter

Was taking a short cut through some light brush to go bream fishing in a big private pond in Pike County, Alabama. Was carrying a 16 foot cane pole, small tackle box, and a sack of tawby worms. Got some brush limbs and branches tangled up in the cane pole fishin line and I got mad tryin to get it untangled whilst carryin all that stuff. There was this old rusty JFG coffee can layin on the ground and I was still ticked off so I up and give that JFG can a good kick. It bounced a couple of times and a whole herd of them red Japanese wasps flew out of that can and lit me up in that brush while my cane pole was still tangled up.

I understand the magnitude of losing money over someones incompetence, but at what point did your anger make everything about you? Losing a fish is never very fun but remember why you are out there, your out there to fish, have fun, be with friends/family. I'm not really trying to criticize but your story makes me think your a pretty selfish and self absorbed person.

I've seen family lose much larger fish for what would be more money and never get angry like that.

That's happened more than on that occasion. Had a guy reach over told him "I know the problem, we need to pitch your calls". Tosses them out into the hole.

shame story time

couple years ago my father in law allows me to hunt his land "nice deer land". So he shows me his land and i show him where id like to set up shop.. he says go for it. So i i put stand up, disk ground, plant seed, feed corn for 2 months and getting some good pics. Well opening weekend comes around and i hunt.. the following week comes and my wife gets a call from her dad...telling her to let me know he took my deerstand down because his neighbor.. his frickn neighbor who doesnt like hunters found a dead deer on his property and was pissed someone was hunting around there. The neighbor had no clue i was even hunting he was just talking in general..but the father in law didnt want him upset so took my stand down but then said i could out it on the other side of property.. at this time im fuming! i get on the phone and begin to tell father in law wat a little bitch he is, and that im not gona put the dam stand up at other side because i had done all the work, money, and time fixing this spot! and that he needed to quit being a pussy and grow balls and tell the neighbor its his frickn land and he will do what he pleases. Then he tries to tell me he isnt talkn to me until i calm down, and that i was overreacting and that he would keep my stand til i came and talked to him.. i told him f u! i married your daughter not you, and i dont owe you a mfn thing! So i waited til i knew he was gone and went over and got my dam camera and stand and left. Probably hadnt said 2 words to him since

While pond fishing I kept my crick-hopper caught in the weeds, so I got frustrated started whipping that crick-hopper back and forth until I went a little too far. Hooked myself directly in the center of my back. Had to climb through 2 barbed wire fences, trying not to get hung up. My dad got the pliers and ripped it out.

My sister tries to claim I hooked her on purpose once because she was catching fish...not true on both accounts. I did however intentionally line up a card board box to shoot with my bb gun that was located right in front of her.

When I was about 17 or 18 my 12 yr old little brother and I were struggling over the possession of boat paddle. When he resorted to spitting at me while pulling back on the paddle with all of his might, I let go. That damn paddle split his eyebrow wide open.

Can't say I have any "pissed off" stories. Far too often I'm asleep while supposedly hunting / fishing.

I rubbed a 150# tuna with the backside of a gaff after about an hour battle. Gentlemen reeling the fish in was not happy when he stripped another 500 yards of line off the reel. I thought it was humorous, but I was also pretty tipsy at that point.

FTR: We already had more fish in the boat than we knew what to do with, and we eventually did land aforementioned fish.
