Got stuck in the hand by a small one years ago. Remember doing warm water and cleaning it but man did that shite hurt. Couldn’t make a fist for two weeks

Hot water as hot as you can stand... If available hit urgent care. That's about it. Don't pee that's just dumb.

I've been stung twice. Hot water is the only thing that helps.
They suck, the pain is immense and I have a high tolerance for pain (I broke my leg, cut grass, bathed the dogs, went to the doctor the next day as an example)
If the water makes the pain go away at 111 degrees, the pain comes back at 110 degrees. The hottest you can stand it, do that for 2-4 hours then the pain is manageable enough to get it out of the water.

Note the pee method can be of help, absent an outboard pee line. It's not because it's pee, it's bc of the heat. Same applies for jelly fish stings

Urine does nothing for stingray stings, only jellyfish.
