There are some guys that kitesurf just east of dulac. I see their kites from the camp. They have been out a bunch this Spring with all the wind.

Who picks them up when they are done? This is in North Carolina. You get caught in the marsh in Louisiana with no easy way out you could die from a number of causes.

How effective are drift socks in the Louisiana marsh?
I've never tried one bc I figured the water was too shallow.
