So what is a sand bass and bar fish? And a hybrid? I knew what stripers looked like. I think i've seen a hybrid once, my one trip to Toledo Bend.

We wear Bar fish out every year. About a two week span me and some buddies catch a couple hundred each and fill our freezers ( Not at Thompson Creek though)

I almosy never get to fry fish the day I catch them, so I never keep any of these.

That Yella fish is what we call Bar Fish around here. At Lake D'Arbonne the older white perch fishermen smack them against something hard before throwing them back.

We catch a few when we sac-au-lait fish and just throw the filets with them. I never notice when eating them.

We fish out of my Bay Boat come May-July and target them.

Fun as shite to catch and love the taste of them...

Just hate cleaning a 100 at a time..
