Just got a new truck - need a liner.

Priced a few. Line-X is $450 for a 5 ft. short bed, rhino is $475.

Those good prices? Alternatives?

Glue in some shag carpet..20 bucks? And you can shag in it.

Seriously, neither price seems bad to me.

Got a guy in Thibedaux that does gator hide. Not as smooth as line x and not as rough as rhino. I paid him $375. Looks excellent

I've had line-x, rhino, Ford factory, and whatever csc sprays. They are all the same difference after a few years. Literally no difference. Get the cheapest and move on.

Do you really need a spray-in liner? If you don't, get a heavy duty bed mat from Dee Vee.... LINK

I have one and it's great.

ETA: get it from Auto Anything for about $90

Aren't most new truck coming with it? My new one just did, factory does a very nice job, not sure about the plastic top rail covers yet, I guess I will see how long it takes for me to tear them up

Had both line-x and rhino.

Preferred the line-x. Rhino lining after a while started to fade and peel in some spots.

I've had Line-X in my truck for 6 years and its held up without any issue. Only difference from new to now is when you get it it's kind of glossy or satin and now it's matte. Still deep black though and no chips, flakes, cracks or scratches. I chose the Line-X because it's supposedly harder than Rhino and Line-X had a lifetime warranty (can't remember if that's though Line-X or the company that sprayed it for me). $500 is about what I paid IIRC, this included the bed as well as the top sides. They did it in about an hour to hour and a half while I waited.
